The Role - Fractional CTOWe are looking for a Fractional Chief Technology Officer (CTO) who can guide our technical vision and strategy. This part-time role calls for an individual with extensive experience in AI and no-code technologies who can provide a strategic overview while hands-on mentoring engineering teams. You will be a key player in shaping our technology landscape and driving innovation.
Key Responsibilities- Define and oversee the technical strategy of the organization, aligning it with business goals and market opportunities
- Lead the integration of AI and no-code tools into our existing workflows to enhance efficiency and scalability
- Assess new technologies and platforms, ensuring that we stay ahead of trends and leverage the best solutions available
- Provide guidance and mentorship to development teams, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical deliverables
- Ensure that systems are secure, reliable, and scalable
- Communicate technology strategy to partners, stakeholders, and the board of directors
- Stay updated with industry trends and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and ethical standards
- 10+ years of experience in technology leadership roles, particularly in startup or high-growth environments
- Proven expertise in AI technologies and their application in business solutions
- Strong experience with no-code/low-code platforms (Dify, Bubble, Webflow, etc.)
- Experience developing tech strategy, architecture, and implementation plans
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies and product lifecycles
- Excellent leadership and people management skills; able to inspire and mentor tech teams
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly to diverse audiences
- Strategic mindset with strong analytical skills; able to make data-driven decisions
- Experience working in healthtech or related fields is a significant plus
- Built a multi-agent architecture for a personalized AI assistant platform
- Led development of a real-time AI data processing engine
- Architected a scalable LLM-powered search + recommendation pipeline
- Consulted for Fortune 500s or hypergrowth startups on AI strategy and implementation
- Base Salary: USD 40 to USD 70 per hour
