Ensure timely, smooth, and successful crew changes operation.

I. Undertakes the following tasks for assigned Principal’s vessels:

  • Planning of crew changes for vessels on Ratings crew, as applicable.
  • Communication with principals and vessels regarding planned crew changes.
  • Coordination with various departments for approval of crew changes if necessary.
  • Coordination with recruitment for crew requirements if necessary.
  • Establishment of crew availability for pooling requirements.
  • Management of crew performance and debriefing.
  • Verification of seafarers’ documents.
  • Monitoring progress and follow-up on seafarers’ documents, including renewal of trainings.
  • Communication with travel agencies about flight bookings and provision of travel documents to ensure cost-effective and timely flights.
  • Assistance with joining and repatriating seafarers during crew changes in Philippine ports, including immigration arrangements.
  • Dispatch of parcels/documents to and from vessels.
  • Assistance to seafarers’ wives regarding travel formalities before joining the vessel.
  • Communication with principals, agents, and vessels concerning flight bookings and crew change matters (e.g., CTMs, pre-fundings, invoicing, requests).
  • Briefing seafarers on travel itineraries and dispatch arrangements.
  • Monitoring and follow-up on PEME results from medical clinics.
  • Purchasing and issuing work gear for seafarers as needed.

II. Update embarkation and disembarkation details in the Principal’s crew system.

III. Update movements in the crew system.

IV. Ensure all joiners’ documents and requirements are complete and uploaded in COMPAS before departure.

V. Maintain work quality in compliance with ISO 9001 standards.

VI. Monitor the withdrawal of seafarers’ documents.

VII. Manage team performance and achieve set targets.

Qualifications:

  • College Degree
  • Preferably in Human Resource Management, Business, or Maritime Studies.
  • At least two years of crewing experience.
  • Preferably with one year experience in port operations and immigration procedures.
