Job location: IKEA Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines. This role is a full-time position reporting to the Shopkeeper.

About the job

Reporting to the Shopkeeper, this Team Leader is responsible for developing and executing sales steering, selling the IKEA way, range grouping, pricing, range management and launches. The goal is to develop sales in an efficient and effective way across all media to attract more customers, increase visit frequency and boost average spend. The role also involves optimizing sales priorities, commercial activities and ensuring accurate forecasting for the total offer.

Your assignment
  • Ensure that your area is clean, fully stocked and merchandising basics are in place at all times;
  • Translate expertise and competence into business opportunities. Collaborate with the manager to improve range presentation so it appeals to local customers;
  • Maximise sales while maintaining profitability by knowing top selling products and strategic families, ensuring they are available and clearly communicated and displayed at all times;
  • Understand the relationship between sales and stock forecast for the department and work towards achieving goals through continuous evaluation and follow-up;
  • Ensure accurate Sales Space Management and prepare for replenishment for the next day’s business.
Your profile
  • You are passionate about home furnishing;
  • You have broad knowledge of optimising the customer experience across physical and digital touchpoints;
  • You have strong stakeholder management, analytical and database skills;
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel and PowerPoint;
  • You can manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced operational environment;
  • You enjoy working in a fast-paced, future-oriented environment focused on people\'s everyday life at home;
  • You are fair, honest and trustworthy with excellent people skills, a willingness to think creatively and a good sense of humour.
