Electrical Support Engineer

Job Description

Job Overview

The Support Engineer Electrical will oversee the design, installation, and execution of high-voltage power systems within the manufacturing plant, including substations and transformer setups. The role involves direct site monitoring, coordination with contractors, and ensuring safe and efficient power distribution aligned with operational needs. This is a hands-on engineering role with a strong focus on plant operations and infrastructure development.

Qualifications

• Licensed Electrical Engineer
• At least 5 to 7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment; experience on a greenfield project (from ground up) is preferred
• Experience in managing end-to-end electrical works, from power connection and electrical system designs to powerline installation, including transformer and substation setup
• Strong expertise in high-voltage systems (69kV and above), including powerline installation, substation, and transformer setup
• Proficient in power connection design, load calculations, and system layout planning
• Experience in site monitoring, project supervision, and contractor coordination for electrical works
• Familiar with local electrical codes, safety standards, and regulatory compliance requirements
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project execution skills

Roles And Responsibilities

• Oversee and execute end-to-end powerline installation projects, including substations, transformers, switchgears, and related high-voltage infrastructure
• Develop and review power connection designs, single-line diagrams, and load distribution plans to ensure efficient and reliable power delivery
• Conduct site inspections and monitoring to ensure proper implementation of electrical systems and adherence to safety and quality standards
• Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and utility providers to ensure timely and compliant project execution
• Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment in accordance with project specifications
• Troubleshoot issues related to high-voltage equipment and provide immediate technical support during construction and operational phases
• Ensure all electrical works comply with local electrical codes, industry standards, and health & safety regulations
• Support ongoing operations by ensuring stable and efficient electrical supply to plant equipment and facilities
• Prepare reports, technical documentation, and progress updates for internal and external stakeholders
• Recommend improvements to electrical systems for better reliability, safety, and energy efficiency

Customer Support

Qualifications (examples are provided as a basis for posting; exact requirements may vary by role)

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Management or related field
• 1-2 years experience in Customer Service or Sales/Marketing
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Approachable and accommodating; good oral and written communication
• Willing to start immediately in Porac, Pampanga

Responsibilities

• Communicate with clients for collections and loan requirements (signing of legal documents, issuance of PDC, submission of requirements and follow-up)
• Assist buyers on concerns, relay and update developments
• Encode, file, and type legal documents; transmit notarized documents
• Accommodate online and face-to-face credit investigations
• Update reports: Buyer’s profile, Background profile, delinquency progress
• Coordinate with other departments for transactions, construction updates, and loans
• Perform other tasks as assigned

Job Description

• Desktop Support Engineer responsible for repairing, maintaining, and upgrading hardware and equipment to ensure optimal workstation performance
• Troubleshoot hardware/software problems; escalate to 2nd/3rd level as per Service Desk processes
• Manage service requests, software installations, and new computer setups
• Perform preventive maintenance on PCs, laptops, printers, and peripherals

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of related experience in Technical Support and with ticketing tools (ServiceNOW, Landesk)
• Available to work 5 days a week, 10.5 hours per day
• Willing to work weekends, holidays, and on-call as needed
• Able to travel to different sites/locations
• Open to a Project Based Employment with 1-year renewable contract
