This role is for an Finance Manager with a strong background in accounting and finance. The primary responsibility is to oversee and improve the operational and service delivery aspects of a business, ensuring efficiency, profitability, and high client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities 1. Operations and Service Delivery- Planning & Improvement: You'll plan for new client and talent needs, continuously identify and address team weaknesses, and lead initiatives to improve service quality and efficiency.
- Monitoring: You will monitor the entire project lifecycle, from onboarding to completion, making sure work aligns with client agreements and deadlines. This includes overseeing team productivity, project financials, and the use of technology.
- Reporting: You will facilitate internal meetings, present performance data, and report on project status, issues, and gaps.
- Team Leadership: You will manage a team, setting clear goals, providing coaching and mentorship, and ensuring they receive timely performance evaluations.
- Recruitment & Development: You\'ll be involved in hiring decisions, monitor new talent as they join, and oversee the execution of team development plans.
- Productivity: A key part of your role is to review the team\'s productivity and efficiency, resolving any issues related to their performance.
- Client Communication: You will be the main point of contact for clients, ensuring project plans, deliverables, and metrics are clearly communicated. You will also manage project meetings and review performance metrics with them.
- Proposals & Contracts: You\'ll prepare proposals and activity budgets for new engagements, and ensure all contract agreements are properly executed and billed.
- Relationship Building: You\'ll build trust with clients, identify new opportunities, and present to their leadership as needed.
- Profitability: You will be responsible for monitoring project profitability, managing the annual revenue portfolio, and ensuring the practice unit meets its financial objectives.
- The ideal candidate will be a BS Accountancy graduate , preferably a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) .
- They should have 5-7 years of progressive experience in areas like financial controls, audit, or consulting, with at least 3 years in a managerial role . A strong background in process improvement and project management is essential. Proficiency in financial and collaboration software is also required.
