About the Client: The client has a leading international brand with a 47,000 sqm manufacturing plant producing 15,000 elevator units, 5,000 escalator/moving walkway units, and 1,000 car lifts annually.
About the Role: The Finance Manager cum Executive Assistant is a pivotal hybrid role providing high-level executive support to the CEO and President and overseeing the company’s financial operations. This dual role requires managing executive schedules, communications, and strategic support while possessing comprehensive accounting knowledge to ensure financial health and regulatory compliance.
Primary Responsibilities- Administrative Functions: Manage CEO schedules, coordinate meetings and travel, liaise with stakeholders, prepare materials, and provide strategic research and reports for decision-making.
- Financial Operations: Lead the finance team using Xero for invoicing, payroll, reporting, taxation; oversee bank reconciliations, expense management, and policy development; ensure regulatory compliance and project/ factory finance oversight.
- First 2 Weeks: Understand administrative and financial processes; begin integrating into schedules and ongoing projects.
- First Month: Fully manage CEO schedules and establish streamlined communication; review financial operations and provide initial efficiency recommendations.
- First 90 Days: Implement changes to optimize administrative and financial processes; complete a detailed financial analysis with growth and risk mitigation insights; establish regular reporting.
- First 180 Days: Demonstrate improvements in time management and financial operations; begin showing impact on profitability.
- First Year: Support CEOs in achieving strategic objectives and lead the finance department toward stability, compliance, and profitability.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or related field.
- Proven experience in a hybrid executive support and financial management role, preferably in manufacturing or tech.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Xero, and digital financial tools.
- Strong track record in administrative efficiency and financial operations.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills; ability to manage both admin and financial tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Leadership and team management experience; mentoring skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities; proactive in addressing financial/operational challenges.
