Research and Development Officer (appliance development) We are seeking a Research and Development Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Industrial Design, Business Administration, or a related field, and at least 2-3 years of experience in R&D, product design, or appliance development. At least 2–3 years of experience in R&D, product design, or appliance development. Strong background in mechanical/electrical systems, appliance design, and manufacturing processes. Knowledge of appliance safety standards, energy efficiency guidelines, and certification requirements (e.g., DOE, IEC, ISO). Skilled in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar) and simulation tools for design and testing. Analytical and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities. Ability to conduct product testing, analyze performance data, and recommend design improvements. Strong communication and teamwork skills for coordination with cross-functional departments. Project management skills and ability to handle multiple development projects. Creativity and innovation mindset in developing practical, user-friendly, and marketable appliance designs. The salary for this position is PHP 25,000 monthly. This is an entry-level, full-time position in the Research, Analyst, and Information Technology field.
