Responsibilities

  • Review project plans and proposals and collaborate with management to determine project objectives.
  • Identify project responsibilities by determining the phases and elements of the project.
  • Calculate time frames and sequence the stages of the project.
  • Coordinate with different teams and professionals, such as contractors and engineers to ensure all parties are aligned with the project objectives.
  • Ensure the project is compliant with the applicable laws, standards, and regulations.
  • Monitor project progress to ensure it is staying on time and within budget. Adjust as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project.
  • Communicate project status to stakeholders and upper management through reports and presentations.
  • Oversee the troubleshooting and problem-solving processes for project design and product issues.
  • You will also be responsible for documenting test procedures, analyzing test data, and preparing detailed reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in the final testing, commissioning, and handover processes.
Qualifications
  • Proven work experience as a Project/Testing & Commissioning/ Sales Engineer
  • Strong knowledge of electrical testing methodologies and equipment
  • Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices, performance standards and industry standards (IEC, IEEE, NETA etc.)
  • Experience with high-voltage and low-voltage systems
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure each project is on schedule.
  • Effective leadership abilities to guide and motivate a team of professionals towards project completion.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, demonstrating time management skills.
  • Strong knowledge of safety standards and regulations to ensure all projects are completed in a safe and compliant manner.
  • Willing to train and be trained.
  • BS degree in Electrical Engineering (licensed REE)
