Content Strategist

Drives creative direction by developing detailed shoot briefs and strategies aligned with client objectives. Oversees content production from concept through post-production, ensuring all deliverables are on-brand, error-free, and optimised for multi-platform use. Balances creativity with precision, ensuring content quality remains high and projects move on schedule. Key Responsibilities Review onboarding documents and client goals to create clear, detailed shoot briefs for the selected client service (Reels, ads, website video, etc). Define deliverables, including formats, captions, lengths, and platform-specific requirements (IG, TikTok, YouTube, ads). Collaborate with the Shoot Director to refine briefs, select models/talent, and finalise creative direction. Oversee content quality by reviewing edits, identifying errors or inconsistencies, and providing precise feedback to editors. Approve final deliverables, ensuring alignment with client objectives and brand standards. Lead content strategy sessions for follow-up shoots, integrating performance insights and creative improvements. Monitor project timelines to ensure all deliverables are produced and delivered on time. Experience Required 3–6 years in content strategy, creative production, or social media roles within agencies or production companies. Proven experience planning and delivering content for both short-form platforms (TikTok, Reels) and long-form (YouTube, podcasts). Knowledge & Skills Strong creative vision with attention to detail to spot and correct editorial errors. Deep understanding of social media platforms, formats, and content best practices. Ability to translate client goals into actionable creative briefs and measurable KPIs. Skilled in copywriting, content structuring, and storytelling. Strong project management skills to keep content workflows on track. Collaborative approach, able to work effectively with directors, editors, and clients. Analytical mindset with familiarity in content performance metrics (CTR, engagement, retention) Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Film, or related field (preferred). KPIs Percentage of briefs approved on first submission. Accuracy of content (low error rate in delivered assets). Timeliness of post-shoot reviews and project sign-offs.
