We’re looking for a Creative Strategist with a cinematic mindset , someone who understands how to make people feel something when they watch. You’ll work alongside a technically skilled video editor who handles cutting, pacing and color. Your role is to build the story behind every frame. What You’ll Do Develop narrative structures for short-form and long-form content (hook → tension → release → payoff). Write creative briefs and video outlines with emotional pacing, rhythm and visual flow in mind. Collaborate with our editor to ensure every video feels like a story, not an ad. Select or guide b-roll choices that reinforce storytelling beats. Identify what makes each story worth watching — the “aha” or “goosebump” moment. Study top-performing cinematic content across platforms (YouTube, Meta, TikTok) and extract repeatable narrative formulas. Turn raw footage, interviews or talking-head videos into structured arcs with emotional hooks. What You Bring Deep passion for film, storytelling or documentary work — you think in shots and emotions. Experience crafting stories for social content, commercials or branded films. Strong sense of rhythm, emotion and narrative psychology. You know what makes a story resonate — not just “perform.” Fluent in the language of editors (you understand pacing, transitions, mood). Obsessed with great references — you love studying Apple ads, A24 trailers or the structure of a YouTube doc. Bonus Points Background in screenwriting, film editing or creative direction. Understanding of social platform dynamics (hook rate, retention curve, audience drop-off). Experience briefing editors, cinematographers or creative teams.
