About This Job

The AI Engineer will be responsible for a team running AI/innovation experiments spanning multiple platforms, with team members responsible for mining complex and unstructured data sets using advanced statistical methods for use in data driven decision making. This role provides architectural oversight to a portfolio of projects.

TheAI Engineer will be responsible for a team running AI/innovation experiments spanning multiple platforms, with team members responsible for developing and optimizing AI models, fine-tuning prompts, and applying advanced statistical methods to solve complex problems. This role provides architectural oversight to a portfolio of AI-driven projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversees development and application of AI models and algorithms to key business metrics with the goal of improving operations or answering business questions. Identifies projects or initiatives that could benefit from AI-driven insights.

• Designs, develops, and optimizes machine learning models and AI systems to enhance performance and automation.

• Creates and refines prompts for AI models to improve output relevance and efficiency.

• Uses existing AI frameworks and tools to solve problems, predict outcomes, and identify efficiencies. Assesses AI model performance, impacts, and suggests improvements.

• Guides research, analysis, and experimentation on organizational AI applications. Manipulates large amounts of structured and unstructured data; analyzes and interprets high-dimensionality data sets from disparate sources to identify patterns, relationships, trends, or interdependencies.

• Provides recommendations to decision-makers based on AI-driven research findings.

Education & Experience Requirements

• 3-5 years delivering AI-enabled products and solutions in a regulated industry (ideally financial services).

• 3-5 years in AI engineering, machine learning development, or natural language processing (preferred).

• Strong ability to develop and optimize AI models across multiple platforms.

• Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) (preferred).

• Bachelors Degree
