Qualifications:

  • A graduate of TLE or ICT related course
  • with a minimum of 3 years teaching experience

Position Overview:

To develop, update, maintain and monitor high quality teaching, learning and training practices within the assigned Learning Areas(s), the Program Supervisor assists the Director for Academics in delivering quality leadership and Learning Area management in accordance with the school's philosophy, mission, vision, goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reviews,assesses, revises and develops learning area programs, as well as related curriculum papers and resources, such as curriculum maps, course outlines, teaching plans, instructional and intervention materials, and varied assessment tools.
  • •Supervises instructional processes and helps in solving challenges in designated learning area in collaboration with Academic Council members and campus School Heads.
  • Plans, improves, and monitors testing programs for the assigned subject area.
  • Conducts teacher's supervision through observation, coaching, and mentoring for better teaching performance.
  • Obtains and uses evaluative results to assess the efficacy of the allocated learning area's curriculum and teaching program.
  • Assists in the planning and management of resources for supplies, equipment, and facilities in the assigned learning area.
  • Disseminates information about current research and major advancements in the designated field on a local and national level.
  • Demonstrate teaching strategies and best practice.
  • Undergoes trainings and workshops for professional development.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities similar or related to or implied from the enumeration of the above duties and responsibilities, or as may be assigned by higher authorities.

  • Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills, subject knowledge, and instructional strategies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, participate in team meetings, and contribute to the professional learning community.
  • Stay updated on educational trends, research, and best practices in secondary education.
