- SHS ICT Faculty (Security Subject)
We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate ICT Faculty member who can teach Security-related subjects under the ICT strand. The role involves equipping students with the knowledge and skills to understand IT security risks, apply security solutions, and manage organisational security in real-world contexts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach ICT subjects focusing on Security, including:
- Assessing risks to IT systems
- Implementing IT security solutions (e.g., firewalls, VPNs, DMZ, NAT)
- Reviewing and applying mechanisms to control organisational IT security
- Designing and managing organisational security policies and disaster recovery plans
- Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments aligned with curriculum requirements.
- Guide students through practical applications such as vulnerability testing, audits, and security policy development.
- Provide mentoring and academic support to help students succeed.
- Stay updated with trends and best practices in cybersecurity.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred).
- Teaching experience in SHS or college-level ICT programs preferred.
- Knowledge or certification in Cybersecurity/IT Security (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP) is an advantage.
Strong communication and teaching skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
- SHS ICT Faculty (Emerging Technologies Subject)
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative ICT Faculty member who can teach Emerging Technologies under the SHS ICT strand. This subject explores how new and disruptive technologies transform industries, drive innovation, and shape society. The role focuses on helping students understand, evaluate, and apply cutting-edge technologies in software development and business practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach concepts and applications of Emerging Technologies, including:
- Classification, terminology, and trends in emerging tech
- The role and impact of technologies such as AI, blockchain, IoT, VR/AR, and others
- Convergence of technologies across fields
- Ethical, social, economic, and legal implications of emerging technologies
- Guide students in researching, designing, and developing solutions using emerging technologies.
- Foster skills such as design thinking, critical analysis, software literacy, and teamwork.
Prepare engaging lessons, projects, and assessments aligned with curriculum standards. - Support students in exploring the potential of technology to solve problems and create new opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
- Teaching experience at SHS or college level is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of Emerging Technologies and their applications in software and business.
- Passion for innovation, future trends, and technology-driven problem solving.
- Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
Preferred Skills and Attributes of SISFU Faculty/Lecturers
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Experience in higher education teaching or executive training
- Ability to connect business theory to current practices and case studies
- Familiarity with blended, flexible, or online learning delivery

Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in Business, Accountancy, Management, Finance, or a related field
- At least 1 to 2 years of teaching experience at the Senior High School level
- Prior experience teaching Business Finance and FABM subjects is required
- Demonstrated proficiency in delivering student-centered lessons
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Willingness to undergo training to deliver a foreign curriculum
- Licensed Professional Teacher (LPT) is a plus, but not required
Key Responsibilities
- Teach and facilitate lectures, seminars, and assessments in business modules such as Finance, Strategy, Management, Marketing, and Entrepreneurship
- Update and enhance learning materials in alignment with international academic standards and current business trends
- Support students through constructive feedback, academic consultations, and mentoring
- Participate in curriculum reviews, internal moderation, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Engage in scholarly or professional development activities aligned with your academic classification
- Uphold institutional policies on academic integrity, student support, and inclusive learning
Qualifications
Applicants must fall under one of the following categories. All listed qualifications and activities must have been completed within the last 5 years:
Category 1: Scholarly Academic (SA)
- PhD or DBA in a business-related discipline
- Minimum of 2 peer-reviewed journal publications
- Plus 2 additional scholarly activities (e.g., conference presentations, research grants, editorial responsibilities)
Category 2: Practice Academic (PA)
- PhD or DBA in a business-related discipline
- Minimum of 4 professional engagement activities, at least 2 of which are core, such as:
- Executive or corporate training delivery
- Business consultancy
- Leadership roles in professional organizations
- Recognized industry certifications
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver lectures and hands-on lab sessions in key areas such as:
- Machine Learning (classification, regression, clustering, deep learning)
- Advanced Programming for Data Analysis (R, Python, SQL, Julia, MATLAB; software design, testing practices)
- Applied Analytical Models (regression, factor/discriminant/time-series analysis; quantitative and qualitative approaches)
- Big Data Analytics & Visualization (Big Data lifecycle, PowerBI/Tableau/AWS/Azure, Gestalt design principles)
- Design engaging course content, assessments, and project-based learning tasks
- Guide students through the full data science process—problem definition, data preparation, algorithm implementation, model evaluation, and deployment
- Evaluate student performance through research papers, practical-based assignments, and interactive presentations
- Collaborate with academic teams to ensure international curriculum standards are met
Academic Requirements
Master's degree (PhD preferred) in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a closely related field
Professional Experience- Minimum of 3 years teaching or industry experience in data analytics, machine learning, or big data platforms
- Proficient in at least two data-analysis programming languages (R, SAS, SQL, Python)
- Familiar with general-purpose programming (e.g., C++, Java, C#)
- Hands-on experience with:
- Machine learning libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
- Big data tools (e.g., Hadoop, Spark)
- Data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI)
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Experience in higher education teaching or executive training
- Ability to connect business theory to current practices and case studies
