
Business Development Officer

General Description:
The Business Development Officer is responsible for identifying, researching, analyzing, and negotiating lease contracts for wireless telecommunications sites. This includes zoning of sites and identifying candidates based on customer criteria, owner interest, and jurisdictional zoning and land use regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct strategic market scanning to identify high-potential retail trade areas aligned with the brand’s expansion strategy; provide qualified site leads to the Business Development – Real Estate team.
- Support regular review and update of the country development plan, incorporating market trends, competitor activities, and brand growth priorities.
- Prepare detailed location-specific feasibility studies, including market demand, customer profile, cannibalization risks, and projected financial performance.
- Analyze sales and operational performance of new and existing stores to generate post-opening reports and actionable insights for site optimization.
- Develop and present compelling business cases and presentations for internal decision-makers, potential partners, and stakeholders.
- Proactively identify and evaluate new business partnership opportunities (e.g., developers, landlords, institutions) supporting strategic expansion and brand visibility.
Work Experience Requirements:
- Basic experience in real estate, including site assessment, site acquisition, lease contracts, and negotiation.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Ability to work independently.
- Willingness to perform fieldwork.
- Active driver’s license is an advantage.
- Candidate must be willing to be assigned to and manage a specific area.
