Job Description

The PMO Lead is responsible for governance, execution, and oversight of programs, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with strategic objectives. This role manages core functions including scope and change control, and is responsible for early risk detection and reporting to senior leaders. The position also identifies process improvements, oversees financial reconciliation, vendor management, and provides data-driven insights to stakeholders.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Scope Management & Change Control

Manages project scope from endorsement to execution, maintains accurate build information databases, and leads change management processes, documenting scope changes for re-endorsement.

  1. Program Progress and Performance Reporting

Tracks and reports program progress, monitors budgets, tracks cost variations, and generates reports such as BSC, KPIs, and post-build assessments, creating regular stakeholder reports.

  1. Stakeholder Communication and Storytelling

Creates compelling, data-driven reports, collaborating with teams to build clear narratives and presenting findings regularly.

  1. Risk and Issue Management

Identifies potential risks, develops mitigation strategies, and escalates critical issues early to stakeholders.

  1. Project Enablement and Dependency Management

Supports project execution by ensuring resource availability, managing dependencies, and following up to prevent delays.

  1. Cost and Asset Reconciliation

Oversees project finances, validates drivers of variation orders, and ensures financial accuracy.

  1. Data Analysis and Key Reporting

Generates and reviews key reports like OKRs, providing insights and recommendations, and following up on action items.

  1. Vendor Performance Management

Evaluates vendor performance, manages escalation processes, and supports future vendor selection.

  1. Process Improvement

Identifies and leads initiatives to optimize project management workflows and efficiency.

  1. Data Source Management and Documentation

Maintains current and accurate data sources and documentation for consistency and accessibility.

  1. External Information Management

Ensures accurate and compliant project data flow to external agencies.

  1. Training and Knowledge Development

Supports professional growth through online trainings and development, fostering a culture of excellence.
