Senior Systems Engineer – Philippines or India, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm US EST hours

At Slipstream IT, we provide managed solutions with a strategic consulting and global leadership management approach, exclusively designed for emerging pharma and biotech organizations. Our solutions free clients from the demands of internal IT and allow them to rapidly advance their mission. We\'re currently seeking an experienced Security Analyst to join our team and take an active role in advancing our security offering and capabilities to better serve our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Own day-to-day administration of cloud services, with a focus on:
    • Azure Entra ID, IAM, and Security Groups
    • Enterprise App SSO configurations (SAML, OAuth, conditional access)
    • Monitor, Log Analytics, and alert/action group tuning
    • Windows/Linux server management, configuration, performance and in-depth troubleshooting
  • Manage and support hybrid environments:
    • Active Directory (FSMO, DNS, GPO)
    • VMware vSphere (host and storage integration, snapshots, HA/DRS)
    • SAN/NAS and cloud storage operations
  • Implement and support RMM and patching workflows:
    • Patch orchestration and remote support utilities
  • Work collaboratively with life sciences clients:
    • Understand GxP-aligned environments and CFR Part 11 requirements
    • Participate in small project implementations and client advisory
Qualifications
  • 5+ years in a Microsoft cloud-focused infrastructure role
  • 5+ years in VMware vSphere and hybrid storage environments
  • 1+ years working in a GxP or regulated client environment
  • Familiarity with ITIL-aligned service workflows (incident, change, problem)
  • Security-focused with a strong understanding of the principle of least privilege
  • Excellent communication and documentation discipline
  • Self-driven, team-oriented, and project-capable
  • Calm under pressure, client-first mentality
