Job Description
We’re seeking a detail-oriented and experienced bookkeeper to join our dynamic clean energy team and manage high-volume financial operations for a scaling EV infrastructure business. This role offers the exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in the sustainable energy sector while handling complex financial processes including substantial fixed asset management, high-volume transaction reconciliation, and comprehensive month-end closing procedures. You’ll play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records for a company that processes 2,000-3,000 transactions monthly, making this an ideal position for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment where attention to detail and technical proficiency are essential.
Responsibilities

Manage comprehensive accounts payable processes through Bill.com platform with approval workflows
Handle accounts receivable operations and customer billing processes
Maintain accurate and up-to-date QuickBooks records for all financial transactions
Create and maintain detailed depreciation schedules for high-value fixed assets ($50,000-$100,000 charging systems)
Execute thorough monthly closing procedures including fixed asset reporting
Perform complex reconciliation of thousands of monthly transactions, matching software-generated reports against actual cash receipts
Download, process, and analyze detailed transaction reports from charging network software
Record and categorize high-volume transaction data with precision and accuracySupport financial reporting and analysis for business growth initiatives

Requirements

Proven proficiency with Bill.com platform for payables management
Advanced Excel skills for handling large datasets, complex formulas, and sophisticated reconciliation processes
Solid experience with fixed asset management and depreciation schedule creation
Previous bookkeeping experience, preferably with US-based clients
Ability to work independently and manage high-volume transaction processing
Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling thousands of data points
Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet monthly closing deadlines
Commitment to working Eastern Time business hours (9 AM - 5 PM ET)
Professional approach to handling sensitive financial information
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment without relying on AI tools for core accounting functions
