IT Product Owner Manager – Homebased (Manila)

Permanent position. The role leads one of the company's market leader brands for baby care. The Group Product Manager reports to the Marketing Director and will have direct reports. Responsibilities include:

  • Develop brand strategies and translate them into executional objectives across Above-the-Line Advertising, Below-the-Line activations, and Digital Programs.
  • Mine consumer insights and leverage them to drive compelling executions across ATL, BTL, and Digital to deliver differentiated brand scores and growth.
  • Lead agencies and cross-functional teams in the planning and execution of brand plans.
  • Monitor and analyze brand performance and propose focus areas or action plans to achieve results.

Qualifications:

  • College graduate, preferably Business Administration, Marketing, or Economics.
  • At least 7 years of experience in FMCG/CPG; must have handled a flagship or market leader brand in a principal company.
  • At least 3 years in MM/GBM/GPM/SBM level managing ABMs.
  • Extensive experience in TV, Radio, and Print Advertising; digital campaigns; leading cross-functional teams.
  • Strong ability to analyze market research data, derive insights, and apply them to strategy.
  • Proficient in Nielsen Answers software and financial analysis to improve mix, profit, and gross margin.
  • Experience with below-the-line and digital activations.

Product Owner

Posted today. The Product Owner is responsible for the overall product vision, strategy, and roadmap, maintaining the product backlog, creating user stories, and prioritizing based on business value and user needs. The role connects business and technology by collaborating with the scrum team, end users, governance units, and other stakeholders to achieve transformation goals.

Key responsibilities:

  • Define product vision and strategy; develop and maintain a high-level product roadmap.
  • Identify objectives and pain points; translate processes into digital executions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, end users, and development teams; facilitate workshops.
  • Drive development, implementation, and launch; manage product backlog and user stories.
  • Lead and participate in Scrum activities (planning, daily scrums, backlog refinement, reviews, retrospectives) and in product delivery (requirements, demos, UAT).
  • Coordinate Change Management activities and pilot programs; gather user feedback for iterations.
  • Ensure training for pilots and frontline staff; maintain relationships with end-user representatives.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in payment processing, merchant acquiring, and e-commerce.
  • Familiar with Agile methodologies and multiple Scrum teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize; proficient with Atlassian Jira.
  • Experience with development lifecycles and ability to draft business requirements documents.
  • Excellent written and spoken English and Tagalog; strong stakeholder management.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent; 2–3 years of project management background.
