Responsibilities Financial Reporting, Compliance & Close
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements and reporting to international parent entities.
  • Ensure compliance with AASB, IFRS, and internal accounting policies.
  • Perform month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
  • Complete general ledger reconciliations, including complex accounts.
  • Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies and anomalies.
  • Prepare supporting schedules for Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reporting.
  • Assist with the preparation and lodgment of BAS, FBT, GST, and income tax returns.
  • Support tax compliance by maintaining accurate records and preparing documentation for internal and external review
  • Contribute to tax planning activities by providing financial data and analysis to support strategic decisions
  • Support external audit processes by preparing audit schedules and documentation.
  • Liaise with auditors and tax advisors as required.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and support automation initiatives.
Treasury & Banking
  • Support daily cash flow monitoring and ensure accurate reporting of liquidity positions.
  • Perform and review bank reconciliations across multiple entities and accounts.
  • Execute and reconcile banking transactions including payments, transfers, and receipts.
  • Contribute to treasury reporting including cash flow statements and funding summaries.
  • Support the implementation and optimisation of treasury systems and tools. This includes supporting SAP and other financial systems.
Governance & Controls
  • Adhere to internal controls and risk management practices.
  • Ensure compliance with internal audit and governance standards.
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity of financial information.
Team Collaboration & Development
  • Work collaboratively with the Reporting Manager and finance team.
  • Provide support and guidance to junior team members where appropriate.
  • Participate in training and development activities.
