NUMBER OF DIRECT REPORTS/NUMBER OF TEAM MEMBERS: 3

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

Responsible for all aspects of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis. Provide strategic insights to drive and support decision-making processes. Should possess strong analytical skills, leadership capabilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively with senior and executive leadership team.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
  • Lead the financial planning and analysis function , including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support business decision-making and strategic initiatives.
  • Provide insightful analysis of financial performance , including variance analysis and key performance indicators (KPIs), to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Partner with senior and executive leadership team to develop annual budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and financial targets.
  • Monitor and Report Key Performance Indicators of the Company to Executive Leadership Team including proposed action items to address current gaps/challenges
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in financial planning and analysis to ensure compliance and relevance.

Internal – CFO, Finance Leadership Team, Senior Leadership team, Executive Leadership Team, International Market Office, AXA Board

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • CPA, Actuarial or Investment designation
  • Has 5 years experience in the insurance industry
  • Proven experience in financial planning and analysis
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and financial analysis.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate insights effectively.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate financial analysis into actionable recommendations.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
