Overview Freelance Civil Engineering Expert with Python Experience - AI Trainer. This opportunity is remote and project-based. This role involves collaborating on GenAI projects to enable specialized questions and advanced reasoning in civil engineering, by creating training prompts, evaluating AI responses, and refining model outputs using domain knowledge. Responsibilities Generate prompts that challenge AI. Define comprehensive scoring criteria to evaluate the accuracy of the AI's answers. Correct the model's responses based on your domain-specific knowledge. Requirements Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Engineering or a relevant field. At least 3 years of professional experience in one of the following areas: Structural Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, Construction Engineering and Management, Urban and Regional Planning, Civil Engineering Materials Science, Coastal and Ocean Engineering, Earthquake Engineering, Surveying and Geomatics, Hydraulic Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, Public Health Engineering, Sustainable Engineering. Advanced English (C1) or higher. Proficiency in Python with experience using NumPy, SciPy, and Pandas. Strong ability to design creative and diverse problems, particularly computationally intensive ones. Willingness to learn new methods, ability to switch between tasks, and ability to work with complex guidelines. Fully remote freelance role; you need a laptop, internet connection, time, and enthusiasm. Benefits Pay up to $43/hour, depending on skills, experience, and project needs.
