About The Role We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail‑oriented BI Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support monitoring existing reports, query our data warehouse (BigQuery) for ad hoc requests, and write Python code to pull data from API endpoints. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in lead generation, especially in the legal vertical. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast‑paced environment and play a key role in expanding our reach and impact in the mass tort industry. Location Remote (must be available 9am - 5pm Eastern Time) What You’ll Do Build and update dashboards Understand semantic layer (LookML, Cube) Monitor dashboards to find outliers and inconsistencies Investigate sources of errors and work with data engineers to fix them Format reporting in Excel and merge data from multiple datasets with VLOOKUP and other advanced Excel functions Write ad hoc SQL queries joining multiple tables Write clean, composable SQL code using CTEs and window functions Pull data from REST API endpoints with Python Suggest ways to increase revenue or decrease costs from data Document our data processes and errors we encounter Qualifications 3+ years of experience with SQL (MySQL or similar) 4+ years of experience with Excel 2+ years of LookML experience Git experience Experience with JSON and CSV Nice to Have Python or other programming experience Prefect dbt Benefits Uncapped quarterly profit‑sharing bonuses based on company performance 100% company‑paid monthly premiums for Fortune 500 level quality insurance plans for you and any/all dependents (US based employees) 100% company match on any employee contributions to HSA or FSA flex benefits plans (US based employees) 401k plan with full company match of up to 6% of salary and no vesting period required (US based employees) Unlimited paid time off with planned role/responsibilities coverage Work from home equipment budget (at company’s discretion) Forever remote work environment Why Join Us?
