Program Principal Specialist

Responsibilities Lead overall management of programs and provide program control to facilitate successful completion of program objectives and deliverables. Develop, maintain and update integrated program schedule, identify critical path, risks and mitigation plans, and recovery actions. Identify and manage program bottlenecks and propose solutions. Provide and maintain program reports and communicate program status within IPT and PB and other sites (e.g., LB, EVT, WPG, ANA, etc.). Work with Program Managers counterparts and assist in developing and maintaining overall program documentation and change proposals. Handle low to high risk programs, multiple interrelated programs, or a portion of larger and complex programs. Perform administrative functions and moderately complex financials for programs. Support development of policies and procedures for program execution. Interface with various integrated program teams on a daily basis and lead a cross‑functional team; may involve interface with management up to executive level. Adhere to and participate in all EH&S practices and standards across the site, including proactive reporting of observed hazards and recommendations to ensure safety and wellbeing. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; preferably with Project Management Professional certification from PMI.org. Preferably have a master’s degree in business management or applied sciences. Proven track record & experience in project or program management. Proven stakeholder management skills. Proven experience managing a team. Experienced using computers for a variety of tasks. Experience in proposal writing. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral; adept at communicating with higher management and production/support teams. Working knowledge of project applications such as Primavera or Microsoft Project. Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Understanding of project management, Lean Production System (TPS), APQP, EASA, and ISO9100. Must not have had any disciplinary case within the past year. Must not be under a Performance Improvement Plan. Have at least a year in the current position.
