The Associate is responsible for the end-to-end accounting process, including accounts payable, receivables, tax, and payroll for PSA's Philippines account.

What you will be doing
  • Handle daily financial transactions such as reviewing purchase requests in Zoho expense management system, executing payments, validating liquidations, and drafting client invoices.
  • Perform monthly closing procedures by journalizing entries into the QuickBooks system, maintaining accounting schedules such as, but not limited to, general and subsidiary ledgers, lapsing, and bank reconciliations, and recording intercompany transactions.
  • Provide support in the preparation of yearly accounting reports as required by the external auditor and tax consultants.
  • Prepare and submit tax returns such as VAT, ITR, Withholding Tax, DST, and other statutory reports for BIR, SEC, DOLE, and all other government compliance.
  • Process filing and payments for SSS, HDMF, and PhilHealth contributions and loans.
  • Complete payroll procedures using Sprout payroll system.
  • Communicate with clients for collections and suppliers for payments.
  • Assist in completing requirements for vendor accreditation.
  • Prepare weekly financial reports.
  • Coordinate with the business support team for completion of accounting, finance, and tax procedures, as necessary.
  • Under the supervision of the Senior Associate (Team Lead).
  • Other adhoc requests as assigned from time to time.
