Job Summary: Responsible for the review of sensitive documentation with oversight and management of commercial issues and working through appropriate actions and resolutions for the company. Works closely with the Legal Department Manager by managing contract and contractor administrative matters relating to government regulatory compliance, payments, and bonds, and retentions. Facilitates timely closure of contract after careful study on risks for the company. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor of Laws Degree At least 4 years of relevant experience in either corporate legal work or trial practice or both. Practice of law or background in mining or natural resources is advantage. Demonstrates success in resolving a full range of contractual challenges in projects handled. Sound understanding of relevant business, legal systems, constructions, mining regulations, immigration, tax, importation. Familiarity with statutory requirements and other safety and government regulatory tasks. Must have passed the Bar Examination. #J-18808-Ljbffr
