Workday Functional Lead

Job Description System Design and Implementation Create, synthesize, and assess solutions tailored to meet business and project specifications. Develop comprehensive test plans, strategies, and scenarios to validate the effectiveness of implemented solutions. Produce documentation related to system design, testing, administration, and other compliance‑related materials. Incident Management Initiate investigation and resolution of issues. Provide regular updates on issue status and resolution. liaise with Workday or Workday Support for fixes or new features. Solutions Management for Projects and BAU Understand business requirements, collect data, deliver analysis, and provide problem resolution. Contribute to planning and design of solutions and explore alternative solutions. Configure solutions and ensure they meet quality standards. Adhere to the company’s best practice, standards and protocols for solution delivery. Develop deep understanding of HR processes. Responsible for Workday Release assessment, fixes, implementation and testing. Project Management Deliver projects and initiatives on time and with quality. Manage multiple projects or business‑as‑usual tasks concurrently. Continuous Improvement Encourage an agile way of working to shorten time to market and provide continuous value to internal customers. Develop solutions to automate and enhance current processes. Training & Development Participate in required professional development training. Proactively share knowledge with teammates to foster professional development. Build and maintain subject‑matter expertise to Workday modules. Qualifications Has field experience working on at least one full life‑cycle of implementation of IT software for corporate applications. Minimum of 3 years in Information Technology. 2–3 years of experience designing and configuring Workday modules. Ability to investigate issues and thoroughly test solutions. Experience with HR applications and processes in an IT organization. Ability to work with utmost confidentiality and a very high degree of professionalism. Strong understanding of HR processes and functions within the organization, including related systems and data. Effective project management skills; stakeholder management, and expertise in driving projects and initiatives, demonstrating benefits of projects to the organization, and translating customer and business needs into technical requirements. Level of Knowledge Graduate of any IT‑related course. College or university degree with focus on Automation Control Systems, Information Technology, Engineering, Finance, Actuaries or any relevant technical degree. Preferably with Workday Pro Certification or any HRIS Certification. Project Management, Lean Six Sigma, or Cloud certification is also a plus. Experience with known back‑office service providers or companies in the Philippines or the APAC region. Hybrid setup (3 × onsite and 2 × offsite).
