Responsibilities
- Manages existing loan portfolio and markets for new loan accounts.
- Makes credit evaluations and prepared credit memoranda for approval Presents accounts to approving body.
- Screens loan applicants referred by branches by evaluating and analyzing credit worthiness of these accounts.
- Recommends for approval credit worthy clients.
- Prepares Credit Recommendation and Approval Memorandum (CRAM).
- Conducts financial analysis/credit packaging.
- Conducts plant visits to check on how the business of the client is doing.
- Monitors financial condition/viability of the accounts being handled.
- Performs remedial management on potentially problematic accounts.
- Updates Center/Sector Head on performance of accounts being handled.
- Coordinates with Legal Management Services Sector and Collection, Assets Recovery and Disposal Sector on handling of problematic accounts.
- Answers queries, complaints, or requests from borrowing clients.
- Attends to ExCom and Loan COMM as needed to present recommendations.
- Bachelor's Degree is required
- Minimum of 2years experience as an Account Officer or Relationship Manager in Commercial Banking
- Knowledgeable in credit evaluation and financial analysis
- Strong client management skills
