Billing Specialist Finance APAC for Weekend – Taguig, National Capital Region
Overview
Financial accounting and local external account bookkeeping in the Philippines, including collection of invoices, tax declarations, personal income tax and social security declaration for local employees, and some administrative work. Duties and Responsibilities
- Financial Accounting and Reporting
- Daily Accounting Operations: execute full-cycle accounting processes, including voucher review, bookkeeping, and month-end closing, ensuring IFRS and local Philippine accounting regulations compliance for revenue recognition, cost accounting, bad debt provisioning, etc.; manage fixed assets, inventory, receivables/payables, conduct regular reconciliations and asset verifications.
- Financial Statement Preparation and Analysis: prepare monthly/quarterly/annual statutory financial statements (e.g., Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) in accordance with SEC and BIR requirements; develop financial analysis reports and budget variance analysis.
- Tax Management and Compliance
- Tax Filing and Planning: calculate and file VAT, CIT, EWT, and other taxes; implement tax planning strategies; liaise with BIR for audits and disputes.
- Audit Coordination: collaborate with external auditors, provide compliant documents, follow up on corrective actions; manage local payroll reporting and payments; provide administrative support as needed.

Qualifications
- Bachelors / College Degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology
- 1 to 3 years of relevant accounting experience; proficient in Microsoft applications; able to work under pressure with minimal supervision
