DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES About the roleWe are seeking a Pre-Sales Engineer to join our team in Manila. As a trusted digital infrastructure specialist, you will support our sales team by providing pre- and post-sales assistance in positioning cybersecurity solutions.
We value engineers who embody a service-first ideology and can collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams.
As the Pre-Sales Engineer, you will:- Work closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements, challenges, and objectives.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase features, functionality, and benefits.
- Translate customer needs into tailored solution designs and proposals.
- Assist in creating and reviewing RFPs and RFIs with technical input.
- Engage in technical discussions and solution design sessions with customers.
- Address technical objections and concerns with appropriate responses.
- Collaborate with engineering, product management, and professional services to ensure solution feasibility and successful implementation.
- Conduct product evaluations, proof-of-concepts, and technical workshops.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies.
- Assist in developing and delivering training to sales teams.
- Work with the Pre-Sales Team Lead and colleagues to meet goals and KPIs.
The ideal Pre-Sales Engineer should:
- Review project scope of work with presales, sales, or post-sales leads.
- Conduct project kick-offs and discuss prerequisites.
- Manage project implementation and configuration according to scope and timeline.
- Provide activity reports on project progress.
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing of completed projects.
- Transfer knowledge of completed projects.
- Provide as-built documentation for completed projects.
- Offer L1-L2 after-sales support within the agreed SLA.
- Coordinate support for L3 technical assistance.
