Responsibilities Produce precise HVAC drawings, specifications, and riser diagrams aligned with building codes. Develop load calculations, equipment sizing, and system layouts to ensure efficiency and compliance. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to provide fully coordinated, construction-ready project delivery. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to deliver fully coordinated HVAC solutions. Qualifications Experience: Progressive experience in HVAC system design for residential, commercial, institutional, or mixed-use projects. Technical Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and creating 3D models, duct layouts, riser diagrams, and construction documentation. Knowledge: Strong understanding of IBC and applicable NYC, NYS, and NJ building and energy codes, with expertise in heating, cooling, and ventilation system design. Strengths: Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills with proven ability to coordinate across disciplines. Bonus Points: Familiarity with sustainable HVAC design, VRF/VRV systems, energy-efficient strategies, and LEED standards.
