Responsibilities:
• Designs mechanical systems, components, and assemblies based on customer specifications and project requirements.
• Prepares detailed engineering drawings, layouts, and bills of materials (BOM) using CAD tools.
• Evaluates and selects materials, components, and manufacturing methods to ensure cost efficiency and product quality.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Procurement, and Quality to ensure designs are feasible and meet safety and performance standards.
• Conducts design reviews and risk assessments to mitigate potential failures.
• Assists in prototyping, testing, and validation of new products and processes.
• Provides technical support and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Continuously seeks improvements in design and production processes for enhanced productivity and efficiency.
• Works and collaborates with global team members in the Engineering division at the Netherlands HQ.
• Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications:
• Experience with CAD tools, i.e., Inventor or Solidworks, is a must.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with strong communication and organizational skills, and able to lift and move heavy equipment and materials (below 10kgs.).
• Highly motivated and a great team player, with ability to manage/lead multiple projects and priorities effectively.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Bajada, Davao City.

Education and Experience:
• BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, preferably with PRC license;
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in mechanical design, problem resolution, and installation; and
• Experience in designing and updating as-built plans, with proven track record of successfully resolving mechanical issues and implementing solutions.
