Overview

Technical Support Engineer – Manila, Philippines. The role provides frontline technical and product support for Advanced Energy customers across Americas and Europe via phone, email, and online chat.

Responsibilities
  • Serve Americas and Europe customers at Call Center via phone, email or online chat for all Advanced Energy products, including technical or selling related queries.
  • Identify and record all inquiries clearly, and respond on time accordingly.
  • Provide technical documents and related information to customers.
  • Recognize customer needs and promote product and peripheral solutions that best fit requirements.
  • Recommend our products cross to competitors, collect application and commercial information, and track and follow up on selling potential.
  • Support online remote or field troubleshooting for end customers.
Qualifications
  • BS in Electrical or Electronics and Communications Engineering or related field.
  • 3+ years of electronic product design or related tech-support/customer service experience.
  • Experience with AC/DC or DC/DC power supplies, photonics, PCM, ESD, ESVM or related areas preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and overcome difficulties.
  • Strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
  • Power design and application knowledge; good customer service orientation.
  • Proficient computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PPT, etc.).
  • Team orientation, positive attitude, and sense of responsibility; good English communication skills.
  • Able to work afternoon and night shifts.
