Job Description
As an Area Sales Manager , you will oversee business development and account management across Asia, manage distributor relationships, lead presentations, provide forecasts, ensure compliance, and deliver powerful results that drive international expansion.
Job Overview

Qualifications We Seek
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA strongly preferred
- Minimum 3 years of B2B sales experience in the healthcare sector handling international accounts
- Proven track record of selling and growing branded product portfolios
- Strong ability to build and influence relationships with stakeholders across all levels, internally and externally
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
- Proactive mindset with combined technical, sales, language, and administrative competencies
- Strong business acumen with demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Willingness to travel within the region and attend in-person client meetings as required
- Collaborative team player with a history of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Working knowledge of ERP systems preferred
Language Ability:
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, customer specifications, technical documents, or regulations
- Ability to write reports, proposals, and business correspondence
- Effective in presenting information and handling inquiries from managers, clients, and peers
- Fluent in English and Filipino
Computer Skills:
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Your Daily Tasks
General Summary:
- Achieves maximum sales profitability and account growth across the Asia territory
- Personally contacts and secures new business/distributors/accounts/customers
Core Functions:
- Sells to existing and prospective distributors through a relationship-based approach
- Demonstrates products and assists clients in selecting items suited to market needs
Details of Function:
- Develops and maintains relationships with customers to generate new business
- Conducts calls, visits, and presentations
- Prepares proposals and quotations
- Resolves customer issues and complaints
- Coordinates with marketing, management, accounting, customer service, and logistics
- Analyzes territory potential and customer value
- Provides sales forecasts and ensures regulatory compliance
- Creates and manages customer value plans
- Compares product advantages in the market
- Plans and organizes personal sales strategy
- Provides management with market feedback and reports
- Keeps up to date with product applications, competitors, and market trends
- Participates in trade shows and conventions
Reporting:
- Reports directly to the Regional Manager of Asia
