BD Taguig, National Capital Region, Philippines Role Overview The National Sales Manager for BD Interventional business will drive business growth across the Philippines by leading the sales organization to achieve strategic and financial objectives. The role focuses on market development, sales leadership, customer relationship management, and team leadership to expand BD’s presence in key healthcare areas such as breast cancer intervention, interventional radiology, cardiology, vascular surgery, urology, critical care, and related specialties. Responsibilities Sales Forecasting and Planning – Build and regularly update accurate forecasts for in‑market sales (IMS) and to‑market sales (TMS). Validate IMS sales, revenue, and expenses reports to ensure data accuracy and support business decisions. Market Analysis and Competitive Intelligence – foresee, identify, and map potential risks, market trends, and competitor initiatives; strengthen market understanding. Customer Relationship Management – foster long‑lasting relationships, map decision makers across key accounts; lead distributor business performance; develop distributor teams. Cross‑Functional Collaboration – work closely with supply chain, commercial operations, regulatory, clinical, and marketing teams. Compliance and Quality Assurance – ensure adherence to ethics, compliance, quality, regulatory and legal requirements. Performance Management – achieve growth targets by managing forecasts, inventory levels, and opportunity pipelines. C‑suite Engagement – build and manage relationships with key customers, including C‑suite executives, to understand unmet needs and implement product solutions. Commercial Excellence – lead sales call planning, maintain accurate CRM records, and drive results through disciplined sales processes. Required Qualifications Minimum 12 years of sales experience in medical devices or pharmaceutical sales, including recent national/regional leadership roles. MBA with a graduate degree preferred. Proven people leadership experience and ability to set direction and manage a growing market segment. Extensive knowledge of the Philippine healthcare market, practices, channel, and distributor management. Experience managing P&L for a business. Strong business acumen, analytical and negotiation skills. Excellent communication skills and willingness to travel. Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization.
