For more information, visit Terms & conditions apply What You’ll Do As a Senior General Accountant, you will be part of a newly formed team of 10 client accountants with planned growth, servicing financial services vehicles in the U.S., Cayman Islands, Ireland, Singapore and other offshore jurisdictions. Prepare management accounts (monthly, quarterly, semi-annual or annual) for clients such as investment funds, holding companies, aircraft leasing entities and structured finance vehicles Prepare annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS, US GAAP, Irish or UK GAAP Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual regulatory reporting/filings Provide timely and accurate status updates to ensure deadlines are met Provide coaching and training to junior staff Comply with legal, regulatory and internal risk management requirements, policies, procedures and internal guidance notes Escalate business issues to relevant management personnel Maintain proprietary systems with accurate data Respond to internal stakeholder queries promptly and professionally Develop effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and other relevant parties Display a strong team focus and assist other team members as needed Ad-hoc projects, including reporting, as required What You Need Non-negotiables Degree holder in Accounting or Finance Professional accounting designation is a plus At least 5 years of professional work experience At least 1-2 years experience coaching and managing junior staff Previous financial services, investment industry or accounting experience is strongly preferred Preferred skills/expertise Ability to handle work/client deliverables with tight deadlines Good Excel skills (SumIfs, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables); Power Query a plus Ability to learn new software and adapt quickly to new processes Team player with good time management, positive attitude and willingness to learn High attention to detail when handling large volumes of financial information Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written) Ability to handle highly confidential information Maintain and promote corporate values in conduct and interactions Adhere to the highest ethical and social standards Deliver value to internal stakeholders by providing high-quality service Respond promptly and professionally to requests for assistance Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Accounting/Auditing Industries Outsourcing and Offshoring Consulting Sign in to set job alerts for “Accounting Supervisor” roles. #J-18808-Ljbffr
