Content Video Editor & Creator Relations (Remote) Arrangement: Remote Schedule: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM Monday to Friday Experience Required: Open to candidates with as little as 2 years to more than 5 years of experience, provided they demonstrate strong and relevant skills for the role. The key requirement is a solid understanding of social media ads and editing. We’re seeking a motivated and creative individual to join our team as a Content Video Editor & Creator Relations. The role places a strong emphasis on video editing, content repurposing, and creative storytelling, alongside talent sourcing and relationship management. You will be responsible for editing raw creator footage into high‑performing social media content, staying on top of emerging editing trends, and ensuring output aligns with what drives engagement. In addition, you’ll build and manage collaborations with everyday social media content creators who are on‑brand for us, securing both raw content and partnership ads. Key Responsibilities Video Editing & Production Edit raw video footage into polished, engaging, and high‑performing content tailored for Instagram and TikTok. Apply brand guidelines, captions, music, and graphics in line with campaign objectives. Repurpose and create video variations using existing footage, and build different versions of winning creatives for scaling. Deep understanding of what drives engagement on social platforms – including hooks, pacing, and storytelling. Stay up to date with emerging editing trends, viral formats, and platform‑specific best practices. Use creative judgement to adapt and optimise content for Reels, TikTok, adverts, and other short‑form formats. Collaborate with the internal team to brainstorm creative content ideas and test multiple variations. Creator Outreach & Relationship Management 1. Raw Footage Sourcing Identify and engage with micro and "everyday" social media content creators across Instagram and TikTok whose aesthetic and tone align with our brand. Negotiate set‑fee collaborations for creators to receive product and deliver raw footage only, maximising the volume of content received. Ensure creators provide multiple hook variations, voiceovers, and content angles so the team has flexibility in editing. Focus on cost‑effective agreements since all editing will be handled internally. 2. Partnership Ads Negotiate creator collaborations where content is posted directly on their own page. Arrange for this content to be sponsored and amplified as paid ads by our brand. Secure clear agreements that define usage rights for sponsored distribution. Coordinate closely with the internal team to arrange product samples and ensure smooth delivery to creators. Build positive, ongoing relationships with creators and maintain a database of engaged on‑brand partners. Content Management & Delivery Receive and organise raw video content from creators. Ensure content is delivered on time, in the required formats, and in consistent volumes to meet campaign needs. Provide constructive feedback to creators where necessary to keep content aligned with brand standards. Legal & Compliance Awareness Ensure all collaborations comply with brand standards, advertising regulations, and platform guidelines. Safeguard the company by securing appropriate usage rights and permissions for all content. Skills & Experience Strong understanding of social media and what drives engagement. Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar). Creativity in storytelling and an ability to edit engaging short‑form content. Up‑to‑date knowledge of editing trends and best practices on Instagram and TikTok. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for professional outreach. Solid understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and creator communities. Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple outreach campaigns and editing projects simultaneously. Negotiation skills, with a focus on building positive working relationships. Personal Qualities Self‑starter with initiative and persistence in creator outreach. A creative eye for content and meticulous attention to detail in editing. Always thinking about what makes content resonate and perform online. Collaborative approach, with the ability to take direction and align with brand goals. Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with shifting priorities. Strong balance of interpersonal skills (for creator relations) and technical focus (for video editing). Professional and responsible, with an awareness of compliance and ethical standards.
