They are seeking for an Accountant to support their Accounts Payable and General Ledger operations. This role is critical in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness across the company's global financial processes.

You will play a key role in managing end-to-end AP workflows, supporting month-end close activities, and maintaining clean and reconciled ledgers in a fast-paced, multi-currency environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Code and process vendor invoices in Tipalti, manage approvals, and prepare global payment runs.
  • Perform regular bank and credit card reconciliations; reconcile AP sub-ledger to general ledger.
  • Assist with accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations to support timely close.
  • Oversee PO and invoice matching in Zip; support supplier onboarding and maintain stakeholder relationships.
  • Monitor and resolve data sync issues across Tipalti, Zip, and NetSuite to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Prepare audit documentation and ensure compliance with internal payment and expense policies.
  • Remind teams to raise purchase requisitions to support proper PO lifecycle management.

Skills, Experience & Qualification

  • 5+ years in accounting, AP & general ledger, preferably in high-volume, global environments and multi-currency transactions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Excellent reconciliation and analytical skills.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Proficient in NetSuite, Tipalti, and Zip (or similar tools like Expensify) would be highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Australian GST and multi-currency accounting would be highly desirable too.
