About the opportunity
- You will be part of our company’s growth by acquiring new restaurants to partner with us.
- You will effectively and efficiently exhaust leads and close deals with target restaurants through cold calling, fieldwork, virtual presentations, etc. You will make a good first impression, communicate the benefits of foodpanda's premium product, and negotiate contracts with partner restaurants.
- Effectively and creatively present foodpanda’s packages to potential vendors.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure successful vendor onboarding.
- Exceed sales goals: Drive volume & quality sales, achieve performance-based targets individually and as part of a team. Motivated to over-achieve sales targets with incentives for exceptional performance.
- Represent the company locally: monitor competitor activities, gather feedback, and provide recommendations to maintain a healthy market share.
- Gather feedback from partner restaurants and suggest improvements to management. Maintain a good understanding of the food market, proactively engage with quality vendors, and stay updated on industry developments to contribute to foodpanda's success.
What you need to be successful
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, mass communication, or related field preferred.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in sales, business development, or upselling, preferably with field sales experience.
- Good understanding of Sales Pipeline Management.
- Excellent communication skills; comfortable speaking in English, Filipino, and the local dialect.
- Open to fresh graduates, preferably with sales internship experience.
- Willing to do extensive fieldwork within Metro Manila and/or Rizal area.
- Persuasive, motivated to over-achieve sales targets.
- Clear, confident speaking voice and friendly rapport with customers/clients.
- Flexible and creative in dealing with customers/clients.
- Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM is an advantage.
- Self-motivated team player capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
