HR Generalist

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment
  • Conduct interviews (initial and exit)
  • Collect and monitor the completion of new hire pre-employment requirements
  • Responsible for all pre-onboarding documentation of new hires
  • Coordinate closely with the Recruitment team on new hire updates from job offers to completion of pre-employment requirements
  • Timely update of employee database and records; creation and maintenance of employees’ 201 files
  • Administer trainees and new employees’ onboarding and orientation
  • Implementation of policies
  • Creation or distribution of internal communications regarding announcements, changes, and company policies

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource, Business, Psychology, or another related course
  • 2+ years of human resource experience
  • Ability to work within a team and coordinate team activities
  • Clear verbal skills to communicate well with candidates and managers
  • Proficient writing skills to produce reports
  • Leadership abilities to delegate tasks and train new employees

Technical Requirements (high level):

  • Computer specifications: Minimum Intel/AMD/Macintosh specs as described in the original posting (core i7/i5 or equivalent, 12 GB RAM, 128 GB SSD or higher, 2 GB graphics memory)
  • Main internet speed: jitter 40 Mbps
  • Power backup capable of sustaining a full shift (8 hours) and secondary internet backup is a MUST
