Job Description As a Data Engineer , you will design, build, and maintain data pipelines and analytics systems that enhance decision‑making across content, marketing, and product teams. Experience working in global or technology‑based companies is desirable. Strong background in data engineering within dynamic, fast‑paced environments. Technical Expertise Advanced proficiency in SQL , with experience working with modern data warehousing technologies such as Snowflake. Skilled in building and optimizing scalable data pipelines. Strong understanding of app and web event capturing. Proven experience in manipulating, processing, and extracting value from large, disconnected datasets. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R. Advanced experience with object‑oriented or functional scripting languages. Strong knowledge of big data concepts and cutting‑edge data mining techniques. Proficiency in data visualization and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker).  Experience designing dashboards and analytics reports that support data‑driven decision‑making. Experience with statistical and machine learning techniques, including model building and performance tracking. Experience with data integration and ETL tools, particularly Snowflake, Airflow, and AWS (EC2, S3). Familiarity with online marketing and attribution models such as CAPI, SKAN, Multi‑Touch Attribution (MTA), and Mixed Marketing Modelling (MMM). Analytical & Strategic Skills Strong ability to translate business problems into efficient and fit‑for‑purpose data solutions. Demonstrated capability in designing and maintaining optimal data architecture to support organizational objectives. Adept at developing data tools that enhance analytics team productivity and accuracy. Experience supporting and collaborating with cross‑functional teams in a data‑driven environment. Your Daily Tasks Collaboration & Strategy Work collaboratively with the Engineering, Data, and Performance Marketing teams. Establish and evolve the organization's data learning capability. Design and implement new data models and metrics creation. Continuously improve data delivery for dashboards and visualizations. Assist in delivering analytics projects on time and within scope. Contribute to shaping the analytics strategy and roadmap. Own the data pipeline from backend systems to the warehouse. Partner with the Performance Marketing team to improve attribution across web and app platforms while addressing privacy‑related issues. Analytics & Infrastructure Review existing data architecture and collaborate with stakeholders to maintain optimal data pipeline architecture. Assemble large, complex data sets that meet business and functional requirements. Identify, design, and implement process improvements by automating manual tasks, optimizing data delivery, and redesigning infrastructure for scalability. Build infrastructure for efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from multiple sources using SQL and AWS big data technologies. Create data tools that assist analytics team members in their work. Develop and maintain pipelines and data warehouses to support high‑quality impact and trend analysis. Advanced Data Projects Lead the implementation of the Customer Data Platform (CDP). Collaborate with the Performance Marketing team to address attribution gaps, including CAPI integration, SKAN 4.0 onboarding, and MTA and MMM. Ensure privacy compliance across all performance marketing channels. Participate in the creation and execution of the analytics strategy and roadmap, interpreting their impact on data pipelines and storage. Design, implement, and test data products such as churn reduction and personalization models. Manage and monitor model outputs to ensure quality and ongoing improvement. Contribute to large‑scale, data‑driven initiatives such as product personalization. Participate in engineering sprints, performance marketing standups, and project meetings. Cross‑Functional Collaboration Collaborate with internal teams across all disciplines to understand business requirements and desired outcomes. Provide guidance to product and software engineering teams on data capture needs to ensure sufficient telemetry for analytics. Work with cross‑functional teams to produce strategic insights for content performance and feature investment decisions. Maintain ongoing, timely, and effective communication within and across teams. Demonstrate a proactive, collaborative approach to all aspects of work. Additional Responsibilities Occasionally perform work outside of normal hours when necessary. Participate in interstate or overseas travel when required. Perform any other duties as reasonably directed to support organizational goals.
