Kick off your accounting career onsite in Alabang, Muntinlupa with the exciting opportunity to shift to a work-from-home setup depending on your performance and business needs Key Responsibilities Tax Compliance & Advisory Prepare and review income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, and partnerships. Prepare and review BAS, IAS, FBT returns, and support tax planning. Assist with tax forecasting, division 7A, CGT, and other technical tax matters. Provide clear, proactive communication to clients on tax obligations and due dates. Financial Reporting Prepare and review year-end financial statements in line with accounting standards. Maintain and review working papers and lead schedules. Assist with management reports, variance analysis, and advisory work where needed. Client Management Manage a portfolio of business clients, acting as the primary point of contact. Liaise directly with clients to gather records, clarify information, and offer tailored guidance. Develop strong relationships and support clients with general accounting queries. Team Support & Review Review work prepared by junior and intermediate accountants. Provide guidance, mentoring, and on-the-job training to support team development. Collaborate with managers and directors on complex client matters. Systems & Process Improvement Use cloud-based software such as Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, and Excel. Identify workflow improvements and contribute to process enhancements. Ensure accurate and timely data entry, reporting, and compliance documentation. Key Skills & Experience At least 2 years Australian public practice accounting experience. Degree in Accounting or related specialisations, and ideally interested to start CA program. Strong knowledge of Australian tax law, compliance and accounting standards. Confident in preparing and reviewing tax returns and financial reports. Experience with Xero preferred; ability to quickly adapt to other systems. Excellent attention to detail and organising skills. Strong written and verbal communication, with a client-focused approach. Ability to mentor junior staff and work collaboratively in a team.
