Security Supervisor

Overview

V2X Inc Subic, Central Luzon, Philippines. This position will be physically located in the Philippines in support of LOGCAP. The Security Supervisor reports to the Site Manager and is responsible for supervision and execution of security services supporting the U.S. Army in Subic Bay, Philippines under the LOGCAP V contract. Contract support services provide U.S. Army operational project (OPROJ) capabilities in response to Humanitarian Assistance / Disaster Relief (HA/DR) events, as well as supporting execution of annual exercises through the storage of non-lethal stocks, exercise materiel, and equipment in the Philippines. The position acts as the functional subject matter expert (SME) in physical security and access control, including detailed instructions and procedures for unarmed Contractor Guards and routine, repetitive, standardized tasks. It provides administration and supervision of physical security and access control requirements within the operational footprint and facilitates security and communications equipment needs while coordinating fluctuating manning requirements. It supports coordination, training, implementation, testing, and validation of security action plans and unarmed Contractor Guards. It establishes and implements physical protection requirements for employees within their control and provides functional supervision ensuring compliance with contract security requirements.

• Supervises and directs physical security measures necessary for the protection of designated areas of responsibility, including direct hire employees and subcontractors.
• Uses good judgment and available information to resolve issues and remains objective when listening to conflicting perspectives.
• Demonstrates professionalism, handles stressful situations, and provides a high level of customer service in a calm and professional manner.
• Maintains effective working relationships at all levels of the organization and with Client personnel.
• Reports any violations of on-duty conduct beyond control to the Site Manager.
• Ensures employee performance evaluations are prepared professionally and submitted timely to facilitate retention of quality personnel.
• Ensures employee time sheets are complete and accurate before submission.
• Ensures operational performance of staff complies with established safety policies and regulations.
• Reviews duty schedules to ensure proper manning of security posts.
• Reviews and manages employee vacation and sick time requests to ensure full coverage of security posts.
• Develops and implements Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and inspects personnel and security posts to ensure procedures are followed.
• Maintains accurate and current registration of all vehicles requiring routine access to the areas of responsibility.
• Ensures entry and exit control logs and other required documentation are completed properly.
• Reviews and updates Emergency Action Plans; develops testing and validation of security procedures as needed.
• Develops, validates, and updates Emergency Action Plans.
• Develops training curriculum to ensure security personnel meet or exceed contract requirements; conducts security awareness sessions as required.
• Ensures inventory of Government Issued Equipment is completed monthly.
• Performs other duties and assignments as required.

• Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior military training in physical security operations with working knowledge of information security, industrial security, personnel force protection, and physical protection.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain NAC-I background investigation to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC).
  • Ability to acquire U.S. Passport within 30 days of hiring.
  • A valid Driver’s License is required for all labor categories in the Philippines.
• Experience:
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant supervisory experience in security operations; military security operational experience desirable.
• Skills:
  • Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Proof of U.S. Citizenship and a valid state driver’s license; eligible for access throughout the project geographic scope.
  • Project management skills to manage resources, schedules, and costs.
  • Read, write, and speak English.
• Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • May supervise LN's.
• Working Conditions:
  • Ability to work in extreme weather conditions; indoor and/or outdoor environments with harsh conditions typical of hot climates and desert-like environments.
• Physical Requirements:
  • Light work; may exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently; may involve heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing or sitting, and exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents. Use of PPE is required for some situations; comply with all Fire and Safety Regulations and post policies.
