About the role

This is a full-time position, providing a critical leadership role in ensuring the efficient, safe and compliant management of our fuel terminal operations.

What you'll be doing

  1. Supervising the day-to-day operations of the fuel terminal, including product receipt, storage, and distribution activities
  2. Implementing and monitoring safety, security, and environmental protocols to ensure compliance with industry regulations
  3. Coordinating the maintenance and upkeep of terminal equipment and infrastructure
  4. Overseeing the work of terminal operators and technicians, providing guidance and support as required
  5. Analysing operational data and generating reports to inform business decision-making
  6. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimise terminal productivity and performance
  7. Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and sustainability

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within a fuel storage and distribution terminal or similar industrial setting
  2. Strong understanding of fuel terminal operations, including product handling, storage, and distribution
  3. Demonstrated expertise in implementing and maintaining safety, security, and environmental management systems
  4. Proficient in using operational data, analytics, and reporting tools to drive continuous improvement
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team
  6. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment
  7. Relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering, operations management, or a related field
