IT Associate – Rockwell Land Corporation Job Summary: The IT Associate is responsible for supporting the company’s technology infrastructure across corporate offices, residential and commercial developments, and hospitality‑managed properties (hotels/serviced residences). The role combines general IT support with an understanding of hotel systems, ensuring smooth operations for both corporate systems and hospitality technologies such as PMS, POS, guest Wi‑Fi, and building management systems. Key Responsibilities 1. IT Operations Support Provide first‑level technical support to office and property staff on hardware, software, network, and hospitality‑related systems. Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, servers, and mobile devices. Support system users across corporate teams (HR, Finance, Sales, Property Management) and hotel operations teams (Front Office, F&B, Housekeeping). Assist in the operation and maintenance of property management systems used for condominium/property administration. Support hotel/serviced residence systems such as Property Management System (PMS), Point‑of‑Sale (POS), key card system, CCTV, and guest Wi‑Fi. Coordinate with Property Management teams and Hotel Operations for IT‑related concerns during move‑in, tenant onboarding, leasing activities, and guest stay operations. 3. Network & Infrastructure Management Maintain and monitor office and property network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, Wi‑Fi, routers, switches, firewalls). Support network connectivity in property sales offices, hotel front desks, lobbies, function rooms, and back‑of‑house areas. Coordinate with telecom providers and IT vendors for network, telephone, and internet service installations or repairs. 4. System Security & Data Protection Implement IT security protocols, user access control, backup management, antivirus updates, and data protection measures across company devices and hotel systems. Monitor and support CCTV, biometric access, BMS (Building Management System), and cloud‑based security applications. Assist in ensuring compliance with data privacy laws and cybersecurity standards. 5. System Deployment & Project Support Support IT setup during project development stages—site offices, model units, sales galleries, and hotel pre‑opening IT installations. Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and implementation of new digital tools for real estate and hospitality operations. Coordinate with contractors and system vendors during property handover and system commissioning. Maintain accurate inventory of IT equipment, software licenses, access cards, and network assets across properties. Document configurations, system procedures, backups, and troubleshooting steps. Prepare reports on IT incidents, resolutions, system uptime, and improvement recommendations. Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field. At least 1–2 years of IT support experience in real estate, property management, or hospitality (hotel/serviced apartment) industry preferred. Experience with both corporate IT systems and hotel systems (PMS, POS, IPTV, key card systems) is an advantage. Technical Skills Knowledge in Windows OS, Microsoft 365, basic server administration (AD, DNS, DHCP). Familiarity with hotel systems such as Opera, Fidelio, IDS, Protel, or similar PMS/POS platforms. Basic understanding of network configuration, TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN, routers, switches, and firewalls. Exposure to BMS, CCTV, IP telephony, door access systems, and cloud‑based security apps is a plus. Soft Skills Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to multitask across corporate, property, and hotel environments. Detail‑oriented, proactive, and able to work under pressure (including weekends/holidays if needed). Strong coordination skills with internal departments, hotel operations, vendors, and contractors.
