Food Service: Prepare and serve food items like pastries, sandwiches, or other food products offered at the establishment. Essential Skills & Qualities Customer Service Skills: A passion for serving people, building customer relationships, and creating a welcoming atmosphere. Attention to Detail: Accuracy in taking orders, preparing drinks, and handling payments. Multitasking: The ability to manage multiple tasks, such as making drinks and handling customer orders, efficiently in a busy environment. Knowledge of Coffee: Familiarity with different coffee brewing methods, beans, and espresso-making techniques. Communication Skills: Clearly communicating with customers and team members. Hygiene & Safety: Adherence to food safety and health guidelines to ensure a sanitary environment. Work Environment Baristas work in a fast-paced hospitality environment, such as coffee shops, cafes, restaurants, or hotels. The role involves both standing for extended periods and working with hot liquids and equipment.
