Seasonal Cashier/Barista

A cashier's primary role is handling transactions, operating the Point of Sale (POS) system, managing cash and payments, and maintaining the cleanliness of the front counter. A barista's role is to prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other specialty beverages, operate espresso machines, and uphold drink quality and consistency according to recipes and hygiene standards. Both roles require strong customer service skills, accuracy in handling money and orders, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Cashier Job Description
Customer Service: Greet customers, answer questions about products and prices, and handle complaints.
Order Taking: Accurately take customer orders and input them into the POS system.
Transaction Management: Process cash, credit, debit, and digital payments, provide correct change, and issue receipts.
Money Handling: Count cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure sufficient change and track transactions.
Store Maintenance: Keep the front counter, register area, and seating area clean and organized.
Inventory: Assist with stocking inventory items like cups, lids, and other supplies.
Barista Job Description
Beverage Preparation: Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso-based drinks, using proper equipment and following recipes.
Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain coffee equipment, such as espresso machines and grinders.
Customer Interaction: Inform customers about menu items and specials, and make recommendations.
Quality Control: Ensure all beverages meet the highest quality and consistency standards.
Hygiene and Sanitation: Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines, keep equipment clean, and maintain a clean workspace.
Stocking and Cleaning: Restock supplies like cups, lids, and ingredients, and empty trash.

Qualifications:
-At least Junior High school/ Senior High school Grad
-Barista or Cashiering experience is an advantage.
-Must have experience in coffee shops, milk tea shops or any fast food industry
