ABOUT THIS ROLE… We are looking for a Tax Manager with solid US Accounting and Tax experience. WHAT YOU'LL DO: Oversee and manage tax preparation and compliance for individuals, S Corporations, and partnerships ensuring accuracy and adherence to federal and state tax regulations. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, providing personalized tax guidance and exceptional customer service to address their unique needs. Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, providing training and support to ensure high-quality work, efficient operations, and adherence to deadlines. Use strong analytical skills to identify tax-saving opportunities, resolve complex tax issues, and deliver solutions to meet client needs within established deadlines. Ensure that all tax filings are submitted timely and accurately, and proactively manage ongoing changes in tax law to maintain compliance. Work cross-functionally with other teams and clients to ensure clear communication, timely updates, and seamless processes for all tax-related matters. Leverage tax and accounting software (Pro Connect, Canopy, QuickBooks, Xero) to manage client data, file returns, and maintain records efficiently. Stay updated on industry trends, tax regulations, and technology to improve work processes and provide value-added services to clients. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR: Minimum of 5 years US Tax experience Understand states and the differences related to tax returns Experience with reviewing individual and S Corporation tax returns Ability to communicate tax concepts orally and in writing Proven work experience as a US Tax Manager Excellent knowledge of tax accounting and tax compliance Strong ability to meet deadlines and solve problems Exceptional client service skills and the ability to build strong client relationships Strong leadership and personnel management capabilities Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail Proficiency in Excel Experience with any of the following: Experience with Adobe PDF/Acrobat Experience with QuickBooks Real Estate experience Experience with Gusto Experience with Canopy Experience with Proconnect WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?
