Business Development Manager

This role is focused on driving business growth by identifying and pursuing new opportunities, building strong relationships, and increasing revenue. The Business Systems Manager should have at least 5 years of IT experience in Business Analysis/Process Analysis, or Software Development. The role guides a team of Business Analysts in eliciting requirements, documenting gathered information and validating with stakeholders before endorsing to the Development team. It also trains new Business Analysts, assists in providing solution support to all application users, and performs duties including scheduling scoping, reviewing BRDs, managing test plans, monitoring the Issue Register, conducting project updates, user trainings, mediating between users, vendors and stakeholders, monitoring SLA compliance, maintaining documentation and knowledge base, and preparing performance evaluations of Business Analysts.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Schedule scoping or requirements gathering and assign tasks to Business Analysts.
  • Review and edit Business Requirement Documents.
  • Resolve conflicts about documentation.
  • Schedule test plans and assign to Business Analysts for implementation.
  • Monitor issue resolution and SLA compliance.
  • Conduct meetings and presentations to provide project updates.
  • Conduct user trainings and orientations as needed.
  • Mediates between users, vendors and stakeholders.
  • Maintain documentation of business systems processes and update Knowledge Base.
  • Help resolve recurring production issues.

Requirements:

  • College graduate in Industrial/Computer/Computer Science or Accountancy with above-average grades.
  • Organized, diligent, excellent documentation skills.
  • Analytical, inquisitive with strong probing skills.
  • Experience in preparing detailed reports and giving presentations.
  • MS Office proficiency; knowledge of modeling/diagrams.
