Pacific Surgical Inc. was founded in 2005 as a medical device and equipment distributor focused on providing Filipino patients and surgeons with access to the best possible surgical technology. The company operates five divisions: Spine, Joints, Biologics, Sports and Surgical Technologies. The Spine, Joints and Sports divisions focus on novel, Western branded implants and devices, while the Surgical Technologies division offers hospitals highly specialized capital equipment and disposables. The Biologics division focuses on US-made biologic products to treat conditions associated with aging or injury. Orthopedics remains the key driver, making up over 60% of gross sales, with the company also venturing into General Surgery, Rheumatology, Neurosurgery, and Imaging.
The Role Job SummaryThis role will be responsible for promoting and selling medical devices in the healthcare industry. He/she will build rapport, provide exceptional customer service and maintain relationships with doctors, hospitals, and other healthcare institutions. He/she will report to the Sales Supervisor of the Capital Equipment Division.
Job Description / Responsibilities- Do cold calls and visits prospects at different hospitals within their given territories
- Manage all leads and customers within their defined territories
- Build good relationships with key stakeholders (e.g., Administration, Purchasing, Bid and Awards Committee, Technical Working Group) in assigned hospitals
- Promote and educate customers on the benefits and advantages of assigned products
- Arrange scheduling and obtain permits, if needed, for Product Manager and Clinical Application Specialist to conduct product presentations, demonstrations and other marketing activities (including assisting with OR internships when necessary)
- Help the company maximize profits by upselling and cross-selling additional products
- Be accountable for the territory’s accounts receivable
- Actively monitor and participate in bidding/tender opportunities in the territory
- Serve as the main communication center between the company and hospital customers
- Collect, analyze and present field sales data to assist with strategy planning and implementations
- Attend and update their sales and technical know-how during Principals’ training
- Assist the Supervisor in closing sales by providing all relevant data regarding customers’ profiles, buying habits, procurement processes, and budget allocations

Ideal ProfileEducation: University/College Degree in Life Sciences, Marketing, Business Administration or related discipline.
Experience: At least 1–3 years of related work experience as a Medical Sales Representative. Fresh graduates with proven drive and self-development, and experienced salespeople from other industries are welcome to apply.

- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with other team members to improve sales

- Self-motivated, able to work independently, passionate about the industry, excellent presentation and communication skills
- Good communication skills in Filipino and English, both written and spoken
