Universal Robina Corporation is looking for a Channel Strategy and Operations Associate What are the Job Responsibilities: Channel Champion Primary knowledge center of the channel within the team. Engages in research, studies to constantly improve shopper understanding within the channel. Regularly reviews the company performance by channel, by area, through internal, external data and recommends appropriate intervention to address opportunities identified. Maintains the collective view of the categories within the channel to drive the achievement of company channel sales metrics. Strategy and Program Creation Gatekeeps category activities within the channel by working with category strategy and field sales. Approves programs initiated by field sales to ensure alignment to company priorities Leads the team in consolidating all category initiatives (both HO and field), looking at synergies and develops the execution plan by month and by quarter. Owns company channel SMAC development and leads in cascading plan to the Channel Execution Team. Develops and cascades Perfect Store Standards for the Channel Financial Management Performs cost analysis for channel programs and initiatives. Manages/approves budgets for business development / revenue generating programs. What are the Qualifications: College graduate, preferably Business Management, Marketing, Engineering or equivalent. Exposure to general trade, particularly sari-sari stores and market stalls (not needed but a plus) Preferably in the FMCG industry (food, beverage, or personal care categories) Experience in Operations (Running Promos, Trade Execution, Talking to suppliers) Familiarity with route-to-market strategy and tertiary channel management is a plus Understanding of end-to-end processes — from data analysis, program planning, execution, and evaluation Programs handled - merch planning and deployment, promo packs, other store programs, incentives, store activations comfortable in reporting and has an entrepreneurial mindset biased for action (Agile ways of work) Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills Strong quality and process-based orientation. Organized and has the ability to move results forward with a cross-functional team Quick learner and is highly adaptable to change One full-time positions available.
